Re: Art on the Underground, Labyrinth route
To be fair it's a good little animation with a few mistakes. It gives a tubechallenger "noob" the basics of a route but doesn't give away all the "secrets". I do hope the labyrinths do inspire future Tubechallenges.

Re: Art on the Underground, Labyrinth route
Both Andi and Steve had the option to not reveal this route to the artist, but they chose to do so. If anyone feels aggrieved that "secret" information has been made available too readily, then the fault lies squarely with Andi and Steve.Nigel wrote:I'm also disappointed that this route is now so easily available for those who don't want to do the hard work of researching and planning their own.

Re: Art on the Underground, Labyrinth route
well in response to that you will have to ask steveo as he has the paper route and its conditional on him too releasing i just have my memories of the day despite drunkness haze remembers more than martin.
besides in two months the whole route you can go and research anybody can nigel is doing that himself with son (surfice to say we did have the option tubeguru is right to release or not)
surfice to say we have given you all a most recent world record route people should be thankful to us for even considering releasing it!.

Re: Art on the Underground, Labyrinth route
I'm not blaming Andi & Steve for releasing their route - I think it is great that the tube challenge is so publicly commemorated in the Labyrinth project and I'm sure I would have volunteered my route had I been a record breaker and been asked. Personally, I just think it would have been better to leave it as challenge for anyone determined enough to track them all down, rather than presenting the route on the Labyrinth site. Perhaps I am being naive though, as social media would probably have ensured that the full route would have been published on-line fairly soon.tubeguru wrote:Both Andi and Steve had the option to not reveal this route to the artist, but they chose to do so. Doubt that they changed at South Ken for the Circle line rather than Gloucester Road.

He's still listed as my FB friend so providing he hasn't passed away since 6th May, this shouldn't be too hard...palkanetoijala31 wrote:Ian green good luck on finding him

The change at South Ken is far nicer a change than Gloucester Road. Just an elevator rather than a lifts.tractakid wrote:Really? I thought the interchange at South Kensington was nicer.
