So points failure / waiting for parts to arrive delayed all trains out of Richmond until god only knows what time we scoured the map thinking where else could we start to try and get a 266 in, knowing that we wouldn't be back in the Ken O area in the evening or realistically have a chance of doing the Richmond branch either later in the day....

I thought Chisiwick Park would do and asked Martin if any buses went from Richmond and he said the 391 was our option, we walked straight out of the station in the miserable rain and straight onto a bus :D

Our luck then held all day until just after 2300hrs when a late running train into North Ealing meant that we missed our planned train out of West Acton but still managed the 266 and I will confirm the time when I find my stopwatch...

So we decided to stick to the route and we lost our newbies after only 12 stations when Gary needed a comfort break and Stuart accompanied him, we never managed to meet up again so I have no idea where or what the "Dynamic duo" of Batman and Robin did, although we did run into their camera crew from The media side of BT (The Edge) who asked if I was with their group and filmed us running into Marylebone...

Anyway our first possible check point was Wimbledon where we left 7mins behind the planned schedule, but thanks to a fantastic transfer to Morden with only 11 minutes from train to train we managed to get back and even ahead of schedule of times.

We hit the direct MHE, Hainault Loop and Amersham/Chesham/Watford NW corner all perfectly and apart from the start I have never had a full network go so well and to clockwork...

Thanks to Matt and Steven for coming out and supporting and keeping out spirits up....

Looking forward to 2015 already :D

Yep Tangy spotted it on the boards after you left us, It was the last T4 train which I always try and tend not to use as you then can't get the tube back and have to get bus to Hatton X

that's a beautiful moment at 06:55 where you call me a Cockhead, Andi!

presumably, in the same way that you did to me when i said you were a 'Big Head' on twitter once, i should now send you a PM demanding an apology, and telling you to watch what you say about people in future, or to be 'very careful' of yourself if i'm ever out again on the network again on the same day as you?

i'm not sure how the insult-to-threat level works - perhaps this makes us even? :D do let me know ...

(love the costumes, btw. and a great cause too)

It does make us even seeing as you never apologised for the first comment in the first place! no apology geoff gets called that on video if you had apologised in the first place it wouldnt have been said!
