Comic Relief 2013 - Friday 15th March

Post by Going Underground »

As this isn't far away now and was briefly mentioned on the topic thread below I thought I would see what the interest is for doing this as a group in fancy dress (no theme just whatever you fancy unless you want to go around as a bunch of bananas  ) as we have done in 2009 and 2011.

I doubt this will be a GWR attempt but we would still try and get around as swiftly as possible and hopefully complete all 270...

Unless anyone has any objections for ease of logistics I was going to suggest Richmond  T5 and work around the route that I used on Tube Olympics with Nozza

Please confirm your interest below

Would there be a pre-event meeting or challenge (or something?) or just all turn up on the Friday?

Travelodge Andi?

I've priced up the Easyhotel at Heathrow at £29 a night

Travelodge Teddington is £19 a night,
Travelodge Twickenham is £27 a night,
Travelodge Heathrow Central is £22 a night

All prices were researched on the date of this post (if people look back for accommodation)

Hmmm decisions, because myself and those who are staying in hotels need to work out transport to the starting station. GU, what time did you start when you did Tube Olympics?

Just looked, quite good at £23 a night :P

Is that the definite route then? I'll go book it soon if that is the case.
