A member of staff at Paddington quite recently, told me off for telling people to stand on the right while going down the escalator.

Mind you, at Woodford I've had a member of staff come up to us and ask "So, how's it going?"
What had you been doing to make it obvious that you were challenging? Hardly as if Woodford is one of the more 'obvious' stations on the network!

Have to say that when we have asked staff to sign witness statements they have been helpful and encouraging.....
The worst trouble I used to have was doing it on CiN day in the pudsey/roundel t-shirt. I think people declined often as they probably thought they were also going to be asked to put their hands in their pockets and donate!

What's wrong with asking others to stand on the right?

I guess it probably depends on the way you ask them!
