Waterloo and City Line

Post by Rhys1995 »

Here's a thought: Probably been asked before in other threads and whatever but I want to bring the idea back up - could a challenge be done where someone includes the Waterloo and City Line? I reckon a few of us should get together at some point in the distant future and give it a go

What you want is the alternative challenge 'All lines'. That is almost the only reason ever to use it. It is conceivable that it may be useful in an R15, but it is unlikely.

Some of my earlier, dreadful, out-of-date routes do that, primarily because I planned it off a 1980s tube map, so, consequentially, forgot about the JLE.

My impression is that there's no real reason to use it except to make an unnecessary double back - with the JLE in place you have a way to get out to Upminster (via the District) and a way to get back. If you use the drain then you have one extra so have to find a way to reverse it, plus you don't tick off some of those stations so you have to do them anyway.
Full Network: Three completions, Best time: 17:18:18 - thanks Glen, Andrew and Rhys!
Former DLR 45 station record holder (with Glen, Andi and Stevo) - 2h:08m:57s
All lines: 46:11 (6th equal)
Zone One 2:52:51 (thanks Glen)
