Overground is suspended up from Richmond to Willisden Junction so Kew Gardens and Gunnersbury are completely shut with Richmond only served by SWT.

Cannon Street is closed on 2 June.
I would argue that a non-stop pass of Cannon Street would be acceptable. It is the same situation as Blackfriars, the only difference is the length of time they are closed.

Potentially Sat 18th Aug could be a good day for a full network, as there will be a full service and as it falls in the gap between the Olympics and Paralympics, shouldn't be particularly busy.

How is a weekend a good time to do a challenge? Apart from anything else, there are fewer trains running, so more chances of missed connections.

Or am I missing something?

why is Cannon Street closed on June 2nd. Ongoing works? i know it's been closed recently, but it's back open - because i was there (getting off and on a train again) today ...

dates of Olympia shuttle after June 2nd, anyone?

a Saturday completion will not be recognised by Guinness - a painful thing, as any Brown family member will tell you ...

As well as some occasional longer closures, it's been shut every weekend for nearly 18 months (and will be until mid-June 2012). Ongoing improvement works of some kind, I believe.

During the Olympics mostly everything will be open (at weekends too) as I understand it - including Ken O.

Challenge during the Olympics anyone?! :)

It's just a bit annoying at the moment, as Journeyplanner only goes up until the end of June - I wonder if they are thinking that after then, all hell will break loose?

I suspect that most runners like me would be barred from the stations running by a huge rifle being pointed at my head!
