Does anyone know if the documentaries on the tube challenges are available to download at all? I don't have Sky unfortunately.

Tube 4 is available for download directly from Geoff's website - if you have a while, it's a couple of pretty big files.

I think he still offers to send you a copy of Tube 3 if you ask him nicely, and bung him a few quid for postage, packing, video etc...
