not being arsey about it i still make it 17 months 1week or 1 year 5 months dec-april and 1 extra week 14th-21st
yes i have stated that i will not go challenging for this time so i wish you all luck even you moley!
To be precise, the record was held by Tangy, Steve and Andi for 1 year, 4 months and 7 days, so I am not sure how Andi made it 1 year, 5 months and 7 days. Wishful thinking maybe....
you right well done i apologise does this beat or compare to the last record i held beat by urself i be interested to kno which i held longer.

I reckon Marc record will be held for a long time going on that basis.

spooky eh! :o getting back to subject its strange that the current record holder hasnt updated his own website though i did note in his website that he spoke to someone on here and suggested he dont reveal his real name!

I got to admit though kudos for this new world record i will now put him just above Sara in the rankings list (there are many reasons for this a its only his 1st record and no idea if he wishes to set more and improve his time)and also no publicity from the man himself but to get the record on his 2nd attempt (and i know some people will say 1st but a trial run of 17h is an attempt if it went wrong that day then its still an attempt)

Perhaps Marc is a cross between Hakan and myself lol

I measure time using my own proprietary system of units:

The Jumper: the average time taken for an old lady to knit a jumper (based on a sample of 89 old ladies, aged between 58 and 83).

The Tescorrisainsburasdarose: the average time taken for one person doing the weekly supermarket shop for a family of four, based on a mid-afternoon sample of four randomly picked qualifying shoppers each day, over the whole week.

The SleepWeek: average number of hours spent asleep based on some people.

According to my system, it was roughly 245 SleepWeeks, 94 Tescorrisainsburasdaroses and 36 Jumpers.

not really whilst we are on the subject i have put you down as number 30 on my list provisionally that i am working on to be revealed when i have finished.

it will take into the fact these criteria

Radio appearances
Media or newspaper cuttings
the amount of different challenges done ie r15 mouse snake alphabet zone 1
tv appearances
records held gwr will be held in highest regard but other records will be used

it probably take me some time im doing it for fun as im also writing up my entire challenge history for wordpress.

What circumstances do you insinuate? Are the exceptional/extra details to which the rest of us haven't been made party to?!

Well unless Marc Gawley actually talks about it we can all speculate as to where he started where he finished

im going for a t4 start and watford finish.

My t4 - watford route did come out at precisely 16h 29m but i dont think anybody would try it apart from me.But i think Marc is being very smart keeping silent and it his right to do!After i have typed up my challenges into wordpress i might actually type out my logbook from my 1st record.

Marc states that he is a computer skilled person so you can bet that he had a very good route to his skills set.

So if you have a route that quick then why haven't you been out on it?

I did actually attempt that route but with Kensington Olympia train being defunct and no trains going up there made it a little pointless.

I bet you marc had a similar sort of plan be unconventional throw in a few twists here and there but its all hypothetical!
