The Drain (dee aah eh? aye enn)

Post by TheFatBuoy »

What's the quickest way to get down to the W+C line, if one was to be arriving on a train coming in on the Reading line?

Is there some sort of staircase down from half-way up the platform to save going right down to the other end of the concourse?

If anyone's mad enough to be still online now and knows the answer (it's likely that the two aren't mutually exclusive) then please do reply!

Either:

From the staircase on the main concourse - opposit Platform 7 and M&S

or

From the staircases on platforms 5/6 through to 17/18 and then take the staircases down to the W & City sub concourse.

You cannot get to the W&C line via the Southbank Undergound entrance.
