Strange. Chiltern Trains have always behaved almost impeccably for me.

I have made two attempts with a Chesham start before, and three which neither started nor finished at Amersham...I can see good reasons for doing this, although it's outside the box thinking!

One thing that occurs to me is that when/if the Watford Junction re-extension of the Bakerloo happens, changing at Amersham, something like

Bakerloo Northbound - Watford J - Watford - Moor Pk - Amersham - Chalfont - Chesham - Met Southbound

might become an interesting option.

Didnt i read somewhere that Watford tube would be no more and they divert at croxley towards watford high street through an old line.If so then u run wouldnt be needed but u have to admit it a good option.

I too understand that to be the longer term plan, though the re-extension of the Bakerloo may well happen first - so for a while at least the Watford run (or bus) may be needed. Someone on here will know.
