Strange. Chiltern Trains have always behaved almost impeccably for me.

Re: Changing at Amersham
I have made two attempts with a Chesham start before, and three which neither started nor finished at Amersham...I can see good reasons for doing this, although it's outside the box thinking!
Re: Changing at Amersham
One thing that occurs to me is that when/if the Watford Junction re-extension of the Bakerloo happens, changing at Amersham, something like
Bakerloo Northbound - Watford J - Watford - Moor Pk - Amersham - Chalfont - Chesham - Met Southbound
might become an interesting option.

Didnt i read somewhere that Watford tube would be no more and they divert at croxley towards watford high street through an old line.If so then u run wouldnt be needed but u have to admit it a good option.jbom1 wrote:One thing that occurs to me is that when/if the Watford Junction re-extension of the Bakerloo happens, changing at Amersham, something like

I too understand that to be the longer term plan, though the re-extension of the Bakerloo may well happen first - so for a while at least the Watford run (or bus) may be needed. Someone on here will know.Didnt i read somewhere that Watford tube would be no more and they divert at croxley towards watford high street through an old line.If so then u run wouldnt be needed but u have to admit it a good option.
