A tube challenge video? Well, a few have been done (i.e. Geoff's documentaries, the still-work-in-progress District Line Dub video), but if done well it should be good. I reckon a spoof documentary of the "Laps of Soho" challenge would be brilliant. We could make out it's a life ambition to win it, ...

I would view the interest as an "admin" charge :-)

In this case, it's going to be about 3p so you're welcome to splt it between 18 of you if you wish.
Nah, I reckon it should be split between the winners in the same proportions as the prize fund :P

Get the bus? Would you really want to be messing around with buses around midnight? Well, given that you'd want to be finishing in Epping around midnight (or not much after) to get a decent time, then it'd be nearer 11pm or so, or you could just walk. 0.465 miles. ish. The advantage that is gained ...

Well if you're feeling really ambitious you could work something like a Wanstead/Snaresbrook finish I guess! Nah, that wouldn't work - that'd mean going up to Epping and coming back. Madness. There's a bus from South Woodford to Wanstead, or maybe double back to Snaresbrook and walk - it's only a 9...

The Raven wrote:'Germand'? didn't they beat ‘Argenital’ on penalties
(I thought my spelling was bad)
/Beavis + Butthead mode/

Huhuhuhuh, he said "Genital". Huhuhuhuhuh.

I wonder if anyone's ever done that. Route planning must be a nightmare.

Accomodation after the event: Travelodge Thurrock was £51 , but hopefully I'll find somewhere a lot nearer Upminster next time - should cut down on the taxi fare, too. Have a look on laterooms.com - in seconds I just found a room only a couple of miles away for 40 pounds, or 44 pounds for a room...

Call me inexperienced but I would say the idea of all sending the same, standard letter was quite tacky. I think a more effective way of doing it would be for everyone to write their own letter, worded completely originally and differently, but for everyone to use the agreed points. Yup, I agree wi...

I still think this a little harsh on uefacup81. He was only asking where he might be able to get hold of some helpful publications and not for anyones actual routes or even the "moon on a stick" for that matter :) There was a topic about the "way out tube map" a little while ago, an invaluable guid...
