Has anyone else done parkrun with a pushchair?

Re: Christmas Park Challenge 2018 - 15th December - Finsbury Park

They don't have enough trains to run the full service at the weekend. I guess they are repeating the same pattern each weekend, so look up this weekend and the missing trains should be cancelled off.

Re: All the terminals

It sounds like there should be, including those "extras" as you suggest! I wonder how much you would end up going out and in of all the termini though, rather than hopping across lines at the outer points?

I didn't actually expect someone to know what that was, it was just after seeing it (indecently on The Chase)
What does an indecent bus look like?
And why is Bradley Walsh talking about buses in Guildford?

Re: Bus route teaser

I share your dislike of 7XP. My favourite use of letters was by Your Bus of Alcester, who ran competitive journeys against WMT in the early 90s. They added a Y suffix to all their services, however they ran a circular for one of them, so these became A6Y and C6Y. They were unusual for the time in Bi...

Re: Stations remote from the places they serve

Dinsdale station on the Darlington to Saltburn line is in Middleton St.George but is 3.7 miles by road from Low Dinsdale. It is closer to Over Dinsdale as the crow flies, but the River Tees gets in the way.

Re: Bus route teaser

I would say yes, but it probably depends on something like who owned the company before deregulation (eg Tilling or a Corporation). It will probably also be affected by more modern renumbering schemes where some Managers seem to have had a stringent dislike of suffixes (or prefixes) as they were dee...

Re: Bus route teaser

That would certainly be the standard reason. Some towns, such as Eastbourne, historically used the plain number for clockwise with an A suffix for anti clockwise.

Re: Southern Daysave

Due to the much wider geographical spread of the "full fat" West Midlands Day Ranger, would a Random 12 work better with regards getting the average length down slightly, or do you think that would just limit the alternative possibilities too much?

Re: Southern Daysave

I would be interested in that, but then I would be as I live in the area concerned!

If you did it, I would suggest a Birmingham City Centre meeting point with all 15 stations being a mystery for maximum starting options. Maybe Corporation Street tram stop?
