...which is 14 points, x2 for a time ending in 5. 28 < 51. Hence, no improvement.

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...

Yep. Good to see everyone again. Congrats on 250 Kev/Andrew.

Got a new found appreciation for competitive walking after my physio said to hold off on running. My calves didn't thank me.

Still don't feel up to completing a 5k even walking, but got back to Parkrun with a volunteer morning.

Re: DrainBrain

Musculoskeletal injuries are the biggest test of patience, aren't they. Best of luck in the recovery, and don't push yourself too hard. For the record I haven't been around much because my hip issues came back. Luckily was already scheduled for an arthroscopy surgery to deal with the joint defect, s...

Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2018

I'm enjoying this year so far! The vocal performances are great, and there's tons of kitsch for everybody! Maybe not such a fan of Lithuania or Ireland, would have preferred Switzerland go through, but most of my favourites did well (go Estonia!).

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...

If anybody ever fancies Oxford, they also have a miniature railway. Are there any more?

I added Coventry to my list yesterday.

I'm away, so won't be coming. I can do some kind of random 15 for The Hague Trams maybe.

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...

Some internet person made this map. An impressive number open given the circumstances! That said, I went for a run in the afternoon (not wanting to trek down to Woodley) and running on snow is easier than one might expect. https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1Y119B3r1-aiQPDs7TBvlUNED-J5i1pm...

Re: Tube Olympics 2018: Event 5- Full Network

While you're all debating that, I attempted and completed my first full network! Andrew C kindly asked to join in and with much help from his superior experience, we managed (what I imagine is) a commendable result! Stopped over in High Wycombe because it was the most convenient place to get to Ches...

Re: Random 15 Championship 2017/18: Round 4

You can't polish a turd, but considering that my route was a bit of a trainwreck (I had a perfect route concocted after about halfway through the challenge when I couldn't change anything), I'm happy to have a mid-table position. The list of stations this time was interesting. Lots of variation in p...

Re: Tube Olympics 2018: Event 5- Full Network

Well, I've just booked the day off work. Guess I'm doing this

I can offer support if I haven't managed to get my act together and come up with a route.
