I'm interested. Will commence negotiations with the wife when it is a bit more certain to happen :)
You don't have to bring her along. You can come on your own if you want! :D

Re: Birmingham R15

What about those of us who may want to come from other parts of the country direct to Birmingham? Such as myself from Southampton and Richard Standing from Reading. BHM - TLA  Thanks for asking. We can text the selected stations or maybe post them here on the forum. Everyone will get the list...

Birmingham R15

Would anyone be interested in doing a West Midlands R15 on Saturday 22nd February 2020? This would cover 101 rail stations in an area bordered by Lichfield, Rugeley, Wolverhampton, Worcester, Stratford-on-Avon, Leamington Spa and Coventry.....using a Nnetwork Daytripper Plus which can be bought on t...

Re: Top Times: UK light rail

Geoff does not have the British record do your research Geoff isn't even close to it 😂😂😂😂 and they refuse to recognize it any longer regardless Geoff trip took twice the time of the former record I didn't realise anyone else had done all the stations. Who is the record holder (dstock17 maybe) and w...

Re: Top Times: UK light rail

I am looking to expand my Explorer Ticket top times league tables to include other light rail system challenges from around the UK. Excellent news Tangy. Maybe I'll hit the tram networks next year. I'd be keen on adding some "all the stations" Network Rail Challenges to your list as well. Obviously...

Zones 7-15

On National Rail you can buy a Zones 1-6 Travelcard, which covers travel from your local station plus London Z1-6.It is generally good value and you get a 34% discount with a Network Railcard. But with TfL adding zones left, right and centre, how do you travel to say Rickmansworth in Zone 7? This af...

Re: Another proposed attempt

The other reason this may have happened is because of the current "semi-strike" action currently going on with RMT-backed Drivers regarding noise levels on the tube. They are deliberately going slower on some sections of some lines to try and reduce this. The Central line is one of the lines affect...

Re: Random 15 Championship 2019/20: Round 1

Bricklayers Arms is fine with me. I don’t think a pub in Droitwich should influence our decision. OBB (best bitter) is good and very good value for London. I’m surprised cider is so expensive. You get a room for darts and results and an office for Tangy. Location makes it easy to get to from any R15...

And as usual, Tangy - Thank you for organising :-) Yes echo that - great job Tangy :D Unfortunately no one will remember who came second! Tangy, thank you for organising all the tube events this year. A brilliant job even if you have lost Finchley Road and Kensington Olympia stations. Hope you're e...

Re: Southern Daysave

Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip due to a family emergency. We spent Thursday in the snowy valleys but I had to return to Sussex that afternoon as Mrs B was taken to hospital for an appendix operation. She's fine now. We'll attempt Wales again some other time.
