Re: Practice attempt

I previously tried as such - one end were very cooperative and willing, the other, not even a response. I even tried local police, to no avail :(

Re: "Official" Tube Challenge Adjudicators

Would it be so ridiculous to form a small governing body? *shrugs*

(not saying it should be in the hands of a 12 year old - no offence to you Tube Geek)

Re: Guinness world record regulations

Radical suggestion - why don't we set up an independent tube challenge record recognition organisation? :?:

You could even issue your own certificates!

Practice attempt

Planning to make an attempt on 13/02/18 - never tried a tube challenge before (plans for june/july this year had to be postponed) and I was wondering if it was worth it to try to pull all the evidence required by GWR (a billion independent witnesses etc etc) when we're uncertain about the route - of...

Re: WTTs - All Change!

The district was released last, and my plan survived all the other changes except for the district! They pushed my sloane square arrival forward 30s and the departure back 30s, so now the plan is scuppered

Ok - I assumed it'd be best to avoid fast food etc

Drinks are of course important

Re: I wanna do a full network

Got down to 15:28.... Heh Believe it when I see it. It's one thing planning routes on a spreadsheet and another thing getting out there and doing everything as planned. Correct carriage positions, which corridors/escalators to head down (or up), rush hour, bus stops, the roads to run down etc. Also...

Re: Guinness world record regulations

Maybe we need a Hexo+ https://hexoplus.com/ ! Although I don't think it could handle tube trains terribly well, may be useful for running, were money no object!

Re: Guinness world record regulations

The only word I can think of to describe these new rules is "onerous"! Very tricky for a solo attempt to be achievable, and, in my mind, overdoing the amount of evidence needed. They obviously don't fancy watching 15 hours plus of trains to make sure you've not fiddled the video :-) As earlier peop...

Who can act as a valid witness? • Attendance from a Guinness World Records Judge - Having an Official Guinness World Records Judge present during your record title attempt means that we can provide on-the-spot verification and immediately announce whether or not your attempt has been a success (Sta...

Yes but it's what they'll accept, a dispute would be annoying. And I detect sarcasm
