Re: All the terminals

There was a challenge to do all Zone 1 NR stations a few years ago. It was a really fun challenge. Results here: http://www.tubechallenge.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2852&start=120#p79208 I don't think it meets your precise definition, but it's similar. Obviously you can browse that thread for mor...

Re: New Random 15 Championship season.

Although January is down as the 'National Rail' twist. it will also be the first R15 after the opening of the central section of Crossrail. Cause for a 'commemorative start' at one of the Crossrail stations? Peter has already broached this idea on the Facebook group and we are discussing how it wou...

Re: DrainBrain

I'm here and I'm generally OK, but I suffered a tendinopathy injury in my right hip. Have had some physio sessions with recovery exercises to do. I can walk fine, but I'm not yet allowed to run. Standing for a long time can be painful. Sadly, I'm not sure when I might be back to tube challenging and...

Re: Random 15 Championship 2017/18: Round 5

You may have spoken too soon - it looks like the RMT still plan to strike on the DLR that weekend. No doubt, using the disruption to the Marathon as their bargaining chip. Bugger that may screw up our parkrun plans, please let me know if you hear anything definite... If DLR is closed it's still onl...

Milton Keynes parkrun runs alongside a miniature railway track too- but trains don't operate during parkrun times.
Fortunately the trains at Bognor also don't run during parkrun times, because the parkrun course crosses the track several times.

If anybody ever fancies Oxford, they also have a miniature railway. Are there any more?
Netley Abbey has one.

Eastney Juniors has a small miniature railway (if that makes sense). Zoom in on the course map and you'll see it.

I'm not going to do an FNC but I am going to go to London that day for a general recce. I'm going to do some buses and runs (walks, probably :) ) that I've not done before. (Overland route from Amersham to Chesham... I'm looking at you!) I'll make a donation to Sport Relief based on total stations v...
