TOSA-run glossary thread?

I've seen "the TOSA" mentioned quite a bit but can't find a definition (including a search of the earliest occurrence). How about starting a glossary thread (not sure which board it would go in) containing definitions for commonly used and funny/in-joke acronyms/words. It might even lead to a few go...

Re: Vancouver, Canada

An interesting and rather spooky fact, if you look at the skytrain map left to right and compare to the Tube Map; Airport, Richmond, Royal Oak, Westminster and King George all appear in the same order Nicely spotted. But I don't think Richmond is very nice, and Surrey (East of Richmond in Vancouver...

where I’ll lean over the barriers and “touch-out” so I’ve got a record of the journey. That won't look like suspicious activity. For a moment I read that he was going to tap his oyster card at every station, but that would probably be something like double the time or so! His Circle line GP...

Re: Tubeguru gets a new job

Is stopping beyond a stop board a serious issue? Or does everyone just get on with their lives as long as the train is fully on the platform? It's blooming annoying for "prewalkers" like me, who then have to jog to the door they want (or walk through carriages)! I am interested to know how much the...

Vancouver, Canada

The Canada "Sky Train" now has a wooping three lines! I'm getting a little bored being a student here so thinking I should set a record for it. In 2014 it will have another line, and maybe one more in 2020, but I'll be gone by then. It's called the Sky Train because most of the first 2 lines are ele...

Re: Photo Quiz 11.08 and 11.10

I was browsing the forum and this thread made me sign up, one of them was so familiar yet has never been a regular stop for me. I think I'll enjoy these quizzes, I'm currently living in Vancouver, Canada for almost a year and missing living on the edge of London. My knowledge of the whole network is...
